Abstract
Volume 1 Number 3 of Third World Watch: The Five College Student Newspaper, a student-run publication "committed to the education and enjoyment of minority people (s) in the Five College area." Originally published under the title of New World, it was renamed to Third World Watch to symbolize its support for the entire Third World community. The publication provided news pertaining to the Five College institutions, efforts against racism, social justice, current domestic and global political affairs, the Black Experience, music and art, local events and workshops, student groups, and underrepresented groups such as indigenous Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans. In addition to articles, this issue includes poems, photographs, letters, editorials, and drawings.
