Abstract
Notes by Edward Hitchcock that appear to be intended for an introduction of some kind, possibly for a sermon, religious lecture, or event. In them, Hitchcock claims that while perhaps reading Paul's Epistles to Timothy may be the best course for him to follow, he will not since they are well enough known by his audience already. He writes that he will instead remind his listeners of a few religious truths.
