An order book kept by Jeffery Amherst, beginning on February 2, 1743 and ending on July 20, 1743, while stationed in Ghent, Belgium. The book contains Amherst's notes on daily orders given, patrols, and the positioning of troops and officers during marches. Amherst also notes the pay rate of the soliders and disciplinary measures enacted. The book is bounded in yellow leather, and the cover contains notations from Amherst about the time period covered. The cover is numbered.

Letter from Jeffery Amherst to Sir George Yonge, Secretary at War, dated January 15, 1793. Amherst writes to inform Yonge of the ill health of Insign Clarke of the 60th Regiment and request a leave of absence for Insign Clarke. Amherst enclosed a letter from Dr. J.B. Pearson, dated December 6, 1793, confirming that Insign Clarke is suffering from symptoms of consumption and is unable to join the Regiment in his condition. The identity of Doctor J.B. Pearson could not be determined.

A silver medal issued to Jeffery Amherst to commemorate the capture of Montreal, Quebec in 1760. The face of the medal pictures a female figure of Montreal, seated mournfully at the foot of a pine tree. In front of her is a French shield with a fleur-de-lis and Native American weapons. Behind her, an eagle perches on a rock. Circling the face of the coin are the words: "Montreal Taken MDCCLX - Soc. Promoting Arts amd Commerce". The reverse of the medal contains a male figure, the River St. Lawrence, reclining, leaning against the prow of a ship. He is holding a paddle and a beaver walks over his legs. Above him is a standard bearing the name Amherst, circled by laurel leaves and surmounted by a lion. Beneath the man is a French shield and Native American weapons, lying on their side. Circling the reverse of the medal are the words: "The Conquest of Canada Compleated".

The names of the victorious British military commanders are also listed on the back of the medal, including Amherst, Ferdinand, Granby, Rodney, and Monckton.

The reverse of the medal contains seven medallions with portraits, including British Prime Minister William Pitt in the center, surrounded by Prince Ferdinand, Prince Henry, the Duke of Brunswick, General Amherst, Colonel Clive, and Admiral Boscawen in clockwise order. The faces of the medal are extremely worn.

A letter book bound in brown leather containing transcribed copies of Jeffery Amherst's correspondence, compiled and bound into one volume. The letters date from approximately April 1778 to October 1778 and were primarily written while Amherst was residing in London, England. Many of the transcribed letters deal with Amherst's role as Commander-in-Chief of British Forces, including the transfer of military commissions and the purchase of supplies for the army in England. The volume contains an alphabetical table of contents and numbered pages.
