General Court A pamphlet of the March 1838 report made by the Joint Special Committee to whom was committed a petition made by the Trustees of Amherst College requesting pecuniary aid. The report is signed "by order of the Committee" by John C. Park. The report provides financial information regarding Amherst College. Following the report is the Committee resolve which states that pecuniary aid will be provided. An unattributed note in pencil after the resolve states "Defeated."
