Terry letter to Justin Perkins in which Terry writes regarding her marriage, her husband and his children, individuals from Amherst, the church and clergymen there, financial difficulties at Amherst College and contributions to the school, the last commencement at the College, its troublesome graduating class, personal insults to Professor Fiske by the class, revivals in the country, Miss Lyon's school in S. Hadley, marriages, births, deaths, her own church and Sabbath School in Hartford, a visit from the widow of Henry Lyman, and her own family. She also responds to information in a letter from Perkins.
