Included are photos of the events held during the festival inside and outside of the Alumni Gymnasium and Athletic Complex. Performers photographed include poets Sonia Benita Sanchez and Zoe Best and the gospel group Voices of New Africa. A band (possibly the Bill Hartman Jazz Quartet) and another unidentified speaker are also photographed. These photographs are assumed to have been taken by the College Photographer for the Office of Public Affairs (now the Office of Communications). James U.
