The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd’s own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. Notations are written on the transcript. On the reverse side is a penciled drawing of a seated Japanese woman in a kimono playing a koto. A dated notation in the bottom right of the drawing states, "sketch (1896) by M.L.T." The initials refer to Mabel Loomis Todd. Transcription of Emily Dickinson's "I live with him - I see his face"
