The Octagon was the Black Cultural Center during this time period. Photographs taken inside the Cole Assembly Room seem to be of a meeting, possibly of a particular student association. On the chalkboard in the room are lines and arrows under text that reads "have Rep," "Civil Rights, "SACC," and "Panther."
