He notes that on his first visit Dr. Tyler was not there and on his second Dr. Tyler said he could not see her. He goes on to say that Mrs. Perkins has improved somewhat but not greatly. Treat shares that Dr. Tyler thinks she is more easily controlled than at first, that improvement must be gradual, and that he does not hold hope of a complete recovery. Treat write on behalf of the Prudential Committee of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. They write regarding financial matters such as receipts, prospects, and donations.
