(William Fowler) – Correspondence 1 William Fowler Vaill letter to Mrs. Wheaton, 1838 June 20 Vaill, W. F. (William Fowler) W.F. Vaill letter to Mrs. Wheaton in which Vaill writes that no doubt she has found it strange he has not yet brought her back the letter. He explains that he seems loath to part with it and explains circumstances that kept him from returning it earlier. Vaill writes that he is enclosing the "choice relick" of her friend. Vaill also discusses his upcoming travel plans to see his children, the goings on of Asenath who went back to Monson with her brother Thomas, Vaill's happiness at the renewed friendship with Wheaton, and a bonnet Asenath purchased. He thanks Wheaton for different favors and asks that she remember him to Mr. Wheaton and the dear children. It has been determined that W.F. Vaill refers to William Fowler Vaill, and Asenath is presumably Asenath Colt Vaill. The identity of Mrs. Wheaton could not be determined. William Fowler Vaill letter to Mrs. Wheaton, 1838 June 20
