Abstract | The Spring 1954 issue of Context, a magazine that replaced particular issues of Sabrina, the magazine with contributions from Amherst College, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke College students. This issue replaced the third and fifth issue of Sabrina for the 1953-1954 academic year. Context was intended to reflect "the virtues and faults of today's undergraduate caught in a serious moment," and included essays, articles, illustrations, poems, and short stories. Members of the editorial committee of this issue were Edward W. Tayler, John H. Armstrong, Alex Bespaloff, Edward W. Corson, Jr., Fred Levy, Matthew P. Mitchell, Wililam M. Shaner, Jr., Robert M. Riggs, William L. Velton, and Ronald E. Wyn. |
