Volume 1 Number 1 of Heritage, a journal that was published on a bimonthly basis from May 1932 to October 1932. The aims of the journal were to provide articles and criticism that were joined together in purpose and to attempt to "regain classical standards." Along with articles and criticism, entries also included poems, book reviews, and comments received. The journal was sold in France and Belgium as well as in the United States. Editors of Heritage included but were not limited to Amherst College students. The editors of this issue were Cecil Herbert Hemley, Herbert Mayer, and Georges Picard.
