Abstract | A sketchbook of pencil drawings by Henry J. Van Lennep labeled number 9 and titled Copies. This volume chiefly contains drawings of artifacts and antiquities with descriptions and captions in English and Greek. Some drawings of people and animals are also included. Affixed to one page is a photograph of Constantine Kanaris, and a Plan of the Ruins of Ephesus in ink is also included within. The front cover of the sketchbook is missing and several sketches have been cut out of the pages. |
