Abstract | A transcription of a letter written by Emily Dickinson which begins "Could I perhaps have the address of Mr. Samuel Bowles". "Montague" is written in pencil at the top of the page and may refer to George William Montague. The letter begins "Could I perhaps have the address of Mr. Samuel Bowles". The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems and letters produced by Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd’s own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. Editor' marks and notes are written in pencil on the transcript including the date the original letter may have been sent. |
