Abstract | An unattributed typed note concerning items from the Sweetser collection sold by Harry Stone. The note contains a transcription of two lines from letters written by Emily Dickinson which begin "Every tree a message from India" and "Were affection dependent on location." The note also includes a transcription of Dickinson's poem "Blossoms will run away." The item contains several penciled notes in unidentified hands. "21 letters" is penciled under Sweetser collection and may refer to twenty one typed transcriptions of letters from Emily Dickinson to Abigail and Cornelia Sweetser in this collection. |
