Abstract | Samuel W. Cozzens letter to Justin Perkins in which Cozzens writes regarding Charlotte Bass Perkins, mentioning Dr. Treat and Dr. Tyler. He notes that she is anxious to come out of the asylum, saying perhaps William will write to Perkins his impressions. He goes on to write regarding the loss of Pennie (Penelope Rowe Cozzens), seeing Henry (Perkins) frequently, his son Samuel's assignment as Aide De Camp, and his daughter Charlotte and her husband who is in the army. He also notes that he completed the errand Perkins requested, as Mr. Gordon's receipts will show. |
