Abstract | A letter from Samuel W. Cozzens and Abby (Bass Cozzens) to Charlotte Bass and Justin Perkins in which Samuel writes regarding the death of their daughter Mary Codman Cozzens, the 46th Annual Meeting of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, and current family affairs. Abby writes regarding the Board meeting, her mother (Fidelia Bass), and the death of Mary. The Cozzenses' children Samuel, Charlotte, Hannah, and Penelope are mentioned in the letter as are other relatives including Sarah (Crehore), Lydia (Russel), William (Bass), Elisabeth, and Laura. |
