Abstract
G. Hoernle letter to Justin Perkins in which Hoernle discusses packages received and sent, including packets for Perkins, the globe Perkins sent him, items which Mr. Merrick has received, and Perkins' box of curiosities for America. He goes on to discuss the arrival there from Tifflis of the English ladies and gentlemen, children of Mr. Tailor at Baghdad. He mentions when the Wolters are expected and notes that the Amir has returned to the city, though Hoernle says he has heard nothing of the guns and clothes for Perkins' guards. Mr. New, Mr. Columbare, and bearers of packets and letters are mentioned.
