Abstract
Keith Edward Abbott letter to Justin Perkins in which Abbott replies to a letter from Perkins, discusses a recent case of plague and the death of a young English officer, and writes regarding his current home in Tabreez (Tabriz) and his plans for travel in the autumn. He tells Perkins that he would be happy to make arrangements with him for his drafts on England whenever he may require funds. Mr. Merrick (presumably James Lyman Merrick) is mentioned several times in the letter, and Abbott also mentions that Edward Zohrab is expected in a month or so.
