Abstract | N.G. Clark (Nathaniel George Clark) letter to Justin Perkins in which Clark writes regarding the appeal to the Archbishop of Canterbury and Bishop of London from Nestorians of the mountain district imploring for aid and religious instruction relating to their oppression, needs, and the inadequacies of American missionaries. He asks Perkins to give a statement regarding the effects of his missionary labors. Clark explains that he fears possible English interference and asks Perkins about the separation between the Evangelical and Old Nestorians. Clark also mentions the ordination of Mr. Andrus and suggests Perkins contribute statements regarding the petition to English publications. |
