Abstract | Charles G. Barth letter to Justin Perkins in which Barth responds to a letter and books received from Perkins, saying that he gave the copy of the Nestorian Bible to the library at Stuttgart. He writes regarding his health, the receipt of a box from Perkins by the German Oriental Society, his request for a copy of "our Church History," funds that were sent to Perkins, the Missionary Society of Basle (Basel) sending a delegate to Russia, and the religious revival at Oroomiah (Urmia). Dr. Schauffler, Professor Neumann, Mr. Hallock, Mr. Zaremba, the Missionary Society at Geneva, and Mr. Haas are mentioned in the letter. |
