Abstract | G. Hoernle letter to Justin Perkins in which Hoernle says that they have reached home safely, six days after they had left Perkins' circle at Ooroomiah (Urmia). He writes regarding the journey and mentions the German prisoner at Luldus, saying that they transferred the matter to the minister of the colony to which the girl belongs. Hoernle goes on to relay his re-affirmed decision to go to Agra rather than transferring to Perkins' mission, the decision of Mr. Haas to also decline Perkins' invitation to join him, and the decision of Mr. Wolters to delay in deciding until he has heard back from Basel (Basel Evangelical Missionary Society). He also remarks on the music box and the box of curiosities for America. |
