Abstract
E.B. Dwight (Elizabeth Barker Dwight) letter to Charlotte Bass Perkins in which Dwight writes regarding the trial Perkins has had to undergo, presumably the loss of a child. She goes on to discuss the murder of (Henry) Lyman and (Samuel) Munson, scarlet fever among the children there, the health of other members of the mission, and her children John White, Harrison, and William. She also writes about their upcoming plans and about the current status and plans of other missionaries. Multiple missionaries of the mission in Constantinople are mentioned by name.
