Abstract
H.G.O. Dwight letter to Justin Perkins in which Dwight writes regarding a recent visit to America. He explains that he had to suddenly leave Boston for New York and so did not see Mrs. Perkins' sister Mrs. Cozzens or Mr. Cozzens. He also writes of a conversation on a steamboat with one of Justin Perkins' cousins, of interviewing the teacher Mrs. Cook (presumably Harriet B. Cooke), and of the trials the Perkinses have undergone.
