Abstract | Fidelia Fiske letter to Justin Perkins in which Fiske expresses thankfulness that Perkins is still "laboring for Christ" despite the infirmaries of Mrs. P. (Charlotte Bass Perkins). She shares what she has heard regarding his wife and discusses the death of Mrs. Eliza (Pomeroy Dutton) Fiske. Fiske goes on to write of gathering information on deceased graduates of "this Seminary" (Mount Holyoke Seminary) and of a meeting (of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions) in Springfield, discussing several individuals. She mentions a visit from Mrs. Stoddard and sends her love to the Nestorians. |
