Abstract | Keith Edward Abbott letter to Justin Perkins in which Abbott responds to news from Perkins that cholera has visited Oroomia (Urmia). He writes that there are still a very few cases in Tabreez (Tabriz). He goes on to say that he will inform Colonel Sheil of what Perkins writes regarding the house of the Nestorian Patriarch, and Abbott discusses this topic. He also writes regarding Daoud Khan, the Protector of the Nestorians, and remarks on Dr. Wright's account of transactions in the Koordish (Kurdish) mountains. |
