Abstract | S.W. Cozzens (Samuel W. Cozzens) letter to Justin Perkins in which Cozzens writes that Perkins has their warmest sympathies for his personal happiness and usefulness in his new field. He goes on to discuss the interest in Marblehead in regards to Perkins' mission. Cozzens then writes to Charlotte Bass Perkins, thanking her for her letter and remarking on her trials. He mentions Dr. Bates, Mr. Wheelock, and Jane (Seymour). Cozzens refers to "Mrs. C.'s letter which will accompany this." The letter to which he refers by Mrs. C. (Cozzens) is also in Box 1 Folder 5 of this collection. |
