Abstract | Ralph Emerson letter to Justin Perkins in which Emerson writes regarding Andover Theological Seminary. He provides updates on Dr. Skinner, Mr. Park, Dr. Porter, Mrs. Porter, Mr. Stone, Mr. Stuart and his family, and Dr. Woods and his family. He also remarks on accounts of Perkins' mission, mentions that Mr. Anderson and Mr. Bird are addressing the missionaries, discusses Mr. Bird, and writes of the interest there in the Nestorians. He asks several questions regarding their religious practices. |
