Abstract	M.P. Dutton (Mary Pomeroy Dutton) letter to Justin and Charlotte Bass Perkins in which Dutton writes regarding local interest in missionary work and regarding the Juvenile Society. She discusses the young ladies of it making clothing for the Perkinses and their mission and writes about sending them along with other items. Dutton shares news about her church, her family, and local individuals. She responds to updates from the Perkinses. Dutton mentions the Stoddards, Miss Fisk (Fiske), Miss Rice, Mrs. Wilkinson, Mr. Strong, Dr. Adams, Mrs. Butterfield, Mrs. Francis. In addition, Dutton shares the news of Mrs. Perkins (Louisa Dutton Perkins) and the death of her son Henry Perkins. Dutton also mentions her own children Harriet, Thomas, Eliza, Horace, and Julia, and the Perkinses' children Judith and Henry Martyn.
