Abstract | H.G.O. Dwight letter to Justin Perkins in which Dwight welcomes Perkins back "to this Eastern world" and says that they will be glad to see Perkins and his family as soon as they can come up. He writes regarding their accommodations, explaining that the Perkinses will stay with the Goodells as Mrs. Perkins would be best to assist Mrs. Goodell who is expecting soon. Dwight notes that he is forwarding on several letters to Perkins and others, says that Dr. Smith is waiting for them in Broosa (Bursa), and shares his thoughts on how the party destined for the Nestorians in the mountains should travel there. He provides a description of his house. Multiple missionaries are mentioned by name in the letter. |
