Abstract | Keith Edward Abbott letter presumably to Justin Perkins in which Abbott explains his delay in attending to his friends, noting that he has had an illness since his arrival. He discusses having to leave some of his and his wife's children in England. He goes on to write of the suffering of the Nestorians and of many in Persia, mentioning tyranny. Abbott notes the death of a friend of Perkins and shares other news he has received. He also discusses an incident in which people were captured and carried off into slavery, mentioning the Shah. |
