Abstract | S.F.L. (Susan Freeman Labaree) letter to Justin Perkins in which Labaree writes regarding the status of Perkins' son Henry, commenting on his sense of Christian responsibility; his social circle and interest in women; and his academic performance at college (Middlebury College). She also writes of Henry's relationship with his mother (Charlotte Bass Perkins), the status of Mrs. Perkins, and the possibility of Mrs. Perkins returning to Justin in Persia after she leaves the asylum. Labaree inquires after and comments on "our dear Benja," Benjamin Labaree. |
