Abstract
Joseph Reed letter to Justin Perkins in which Reed writes that his servant who has returned from Tabreez (Tabriz) informed him that one of the Turkies (turkeys) died on the road. Reed says he will endeavor to send Perkins another one and writes regarding his own supply of turkeys and chickens. He also says that he is enclosing a note from their agent at Ispahan (Isfahan) who has requests. Reed goes on to remark on the health of the Shah, the power of the Pilgrim, and the recent unusual weather. He notes that he hears no more of cholera and that he is returning Perkins' book on hydropathy. The enclosure noted no longer accompanies this item.
