Abstract | Geo. Woodfall letter to Justin Perkins in which Woodfall says he was rejoiced to see a letter from Mrs. (Charlotte Bass) Perkins to Dr. Riach showing her love to the Lord. He sends wishes that she may be restored to him in good health. Woodfall says he doubts Mr. (Andrew) Glen can do anything directly for the Nestorians but if the Persians perceive the English Embassy take an interest in them it may be of use. He writes about Perkins' work and his own interest in news of people he met in his former days, mentioning Mr. Abbott, Dr. and Mrs. Riach, Mr. Heugh, and Mr. Nisbet. He shares that he has a new house and they are now settled in Bath. |
