Abstract | M. S. Rice letter to Justin Perkins in which Rice responds to a note from Perkins and says she would like to confer with Mrs. Rhea before writing fully. She notes that Perkins is coming down tomorrow and says she has given up on entertainment on Examination day (at the Nestorian female seminary). She writes of wanting to do more for Mrs. Rhea than she did for Annie but explains why she dare not promise to do it. |
