Abstract | Susan F. Shedd letter to Justin Perkins in which Shedd writes regarding Perkins' wife (Charlotte Bass Perkins) and the recent visit she and Miss Rice had with Charlotte. She discusses Charlotte's general and mental health and her situation at the Asylum. She also mentions the Perkinses' son Henry and Dea. Jones, who has also been at the Aslyum. She goes on to write about her family circle, including Carrie, Ephie (Ephraim) and his wife, herself, her father, and Lyman. |
