Abstract
A transcription of Emily Dickinson's poem "Of silken speech and specious shoe." The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd's own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. The transcript contains editor's marks and alternate wording. A notation is written on the transcript in pencil. This transcript may relate to Emily Dickinson's manuscripts "Of silken speech and specious shoe" (Amherst Manuscripts 308 and set 92) in this collection.
