Abstract | T.A. Taylor letter to Justin Perkins in which Taylor writes about his interest in Perkins' station in Oroomiah (Urmia) and the account of Dr. Wright's tour of the mountains. He says he often thought of Perkins in connection with the ravages of Cholera and remembers the days of it in the United States. Taylor writes regarding revivals, his church (Slatersville Congregational Church), its Sabbath School, and his work therein. He notes that he left copies of the new edition of "Zion," which he dedicated to Perkins, at the missionary rooms to be forwarded to him. He writes about other recent works he published, the death of Perkins' mother, his own mother, his siblings, and his deceased father. He mentions Mrs. P., Miss Fisk (Fiske), Mr. Peabody, and Mr. Bliss. |
