Abstract
A transcription of Emily Dickinson's poem "Ideals are the fairy oil." The transcription is part of the collection of transcriptions of Dickinson's poems produced by Mabel Loomis Todd for publication in a volume edited by her. Most transcriptions are in Todd's own hand; some are typed, and some were transcribed by other individuals. The final word is underlined in pencil and a note below states "E.D. wrote 'oil' a mistake in copying." On the reverse side the first line of the poem is transcribed and crossed out. This transcript may relate to Emily Dickinson's manuscript "Ideals are the fairly oil" (Amherst Manuscript set 90) in this collection.
