Abstract | A.M.D. Tyler letter to Justin Perkins in which Tyler writes regarding Mrs. Perkins (Charlotte Bass Perkins). She says that "the Doctor hopes the excitement is over and she will be willing to do as he wishes, that is use self control and not indulge in actual scolding and other signs of ill temper." She writes about how their patients (in the Asylum) have needs like children in regards to self-control and about Mrs. Perkins not being able to see why under some circumstances religious subjects ought not to be mentioned and a cheerful story might be better than a religious book for other patients. She mentions Miss Dana going to another part of the house. |
