Abstract
William S. Tyler letter to Justin Perkins in which Tyler responds to a letter from Perkins and notes that he wrote to Priest Abraham as well. He writes about his travels to the West and his impressions. He shares his negative impressions regarding the progress of religion and morals among the people as well as his encouraging impressions regarding protestant education, slavery falling in Kentucky, and a spiritual resurrection among the Germans in Pennsylvania. He mentions Edward Humphrey, Artemas Bullard, and Parker. He also writes of the revival in Sunderland, mentioning S.B. Ingram, and of the death of the Rev. Hunt of N. Parish.
