Abstract | J. H. Shedd letter to Justin Perkins in which Shedd responds to a letter from Perkins. He writes regarding the spiritual condition of their helpers and conflict over their salaries. He remarks on Dr. Young's desires in relation to the helpers and suggests that a manual of rules for conducting the work ought to be printed and adhered to. He says that it is sad he is constantly in conflict with the helpers on the subject of wages. Shedd goes on to say that Mrs. Shedd is better and they have now become two bands (he in Memikan and she in Cherdewar).
