Abstract | W.S. Tyler letter to Justin Perkins in which Tyler writes about Perkins leaving Oroomiah (Urmia) to return to America. He goes on to note the start of the new year at Amherst College and writes regarding student enrollment at Amherst College, the growth of other New England colleges, and the growth of the town of Amherst with several new buildings. He also writes about an article titled "High Churchism against the Bible" in the N.Y. Observer with a review of a sermon by Dr. Parker of the Episcopal Church. In closing, he mentions that Dr. E. Hitchcock lost another child. |
