Abstract | A.H. Wright letter to Justin Perkins in which Wright writes about the changes to his plans, from everyone in his family except Caty returning to Persia to his family staying and him returning alone. He notes the misgivings of his wife regarding the previous plan and the letter from her elder brother remonstrating against them going, which led Wright to reconsider. He also notes the difficulty with the prior plan relating to where to settle Caty and Caty's health. He says his family will probably remain in this place (Poughkeepsie) and that the time of his leaving is not settled. Wright also shares what he knows of other returned missionaries plans. |
