Abstract | Joseph Reed letter to Justin Perkins in which Reed writes that by Colonel Sheil's permission, he sends to Perkins the only portion of the translated Holy writ which has reached their friend Robert Glen. He asks that Perkins return it when he no longer requires it. Reed says cholera appears to have left Tehran but he is sorry to note that it has raged at Bagdad (Baghdad) and Sheeraz (Shiraz) and re-appeared at Koom (Qom). He also notes the continued presence of small pox and fever in Tehran and the approach of fever to Perkins' district. |
