| Abstract | Volume 3 Number 2 of Amherst Letter, a publication issued initially by the Office of the Secretary of Amherst College and later by the Public Affairs Office. The newsletter was established to replace the alumni magazine for parents of students. Compared to the magazine, the newsletter provided less information pertaining to alumni, more information pertaining to student and academic life on campus, and some duplicate information deemed important for both publications' audiences. Included were articles, photographs, and reports. It was published under the title of Amherst Letter from 1976-1982 and under the title of Amherst Parents' Letter from 1982-1990. |
