Abstract | Natural history lecture notes by Edward Hitchcock on the subject of geology. He then lists the number of species of animal and plant remains found in different rock types according to [Henry] De La Beche's second edition of "A Geological Manual" and to [Charles] Lyell's "Principles of Geology." |
