Abstract | A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock proposes that he and Silliman work together to map the geology and mineralogy of the area from New Haven, Connecticut, to Vermont. Hitchcock also thanks Silliman for some journals he sent and inquires about the best means for exchanging journals back and forth, suggesting that students traveling between the colleges could transport them. |
