Dates | 1856-09-20 |
Abstract | A letter to Hannah A. Smith, Jane Smith, Debbie F. Smith, and Sallie L. Smith in which Edward Hitchcock replies to a letter they had written him about his work "The Religion of Geology and its Connected Sciences." He thanks them for their kind words and responds to their charge that there is no religion in the text. He also informs them that the "poem" they inquired about was simply text that the printer formatted in a poetic way. |
