Abstract
A sermon by Edward Hitchcock discussing the concept of a revival of God's work. Hitchcock explains what such a revival is and is not in the first part of the sermon, then goes on to explain the consequences of such a revival, such as the conversion of sinners. In the second part of the sermon, Hitchcock discusses the motives for why a person would pray for God to revive his work. Habakkuk 3:2 is quoted. Hitchcock has noted the dates and locations where he delivered this sermon on the first page.
